St Olaves Marina Ltd is situated on the Norfolk Broads where the River
Waveney meets the River Yare and the New Cut with easy access to the sea.
Access by road is on the A143 between Beccles and Gt Yarmouth. The Marina
has undergone much development and now offers extensive services. It is family
run with a friendly and knowledgable team.
St Olaves marina is a secure marina set in a rural location with swipe card entry only.
There are floating pontoons with electricity and water supplies. We are also developing
the marina and enlarging the basin to hold approx 150 boats. The marina has a new shower
and toilet block free for moorers use.
The marina also provides full boatyard and workshop services including boat storage and
hard standing. We have lifting facilities on site to a total capacity of 20ton and within
the next two years a travel hoist will be up and running lifting up to 50ton.
New Cut Quay Head Moorings at St Olaves are primarily for boats 38ft and over as these are
tidal waters. This area lies alongside the marina but outside the security fencing. We will be
developing this with security being installed within the next two years and water & electricity
supplies to soon follow. This will then bring the quay heading in line with our marina for
security and facilities.
Within a 5-10 minute walk from the marina there is the Priory Restaurant and The Bell Public House.
There is a small garage which sells a few general supplies. Also within a 15 min walk there is
Haddiscoe Railway Station which is on the opposite side of the river to our marina.
You are most welcome to come and look round the marina, the office is open between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday
and 10.30am and 5.00pm Saturdays and Bank Holidays.
